Welcome to the St. Clair County Senior Center

The St. Clair County Senior Center is currently located in Osceola, Missouri having moved there from Lowry City in 2008. Since it’s opening in this location, the senior center has been an integral part of the community; not only providing congregant and home delivered meals, but also becomming a location for senior recreation and community meetings.

The building where we are housed is a work in progress. Thanks to the efforts of the Methodist Men’s Group from 3 of the local towns, our building has undergone a transformation this past year with new exterior paint, trim, and remodeled restrooms.

A unique feature of our center is it’s link to local musicians. On the 4th Thursday of each month, everyone who likes to play an instrument or sing a song is invited to the senior center for an evening of impromptu musical performance. We provide a place for musicians to gather, and they provide an evening of free entertainment to the community. If you’re in our area on the 4th Thursday of the month, come on by at 7:00 p.m. for good music, good snacks, and a great time.
